So much more than just paying off a building!
The major building works at our Vineyard site are being completed over 3 stages:
Through the faith and sacrifice of our congregation, our auditorium space was completed in February 2018. Since that time, we have seen significant growth in the impact that our church is having within local communities. At this stage, we are currently in debt of $3,284,122. Our goal is to have this debt paid off in 3 years, at $1.2mil per year.
The next stage of this project is the revamping of our foyer and café and installing a new commercial kitchen and bathroom facilities. This will cost an additional $1,500,000.
The third stage of the project will be the extension and completion of our current carpark. This will cost an additional $500,000.
This building project is an exciting part of our story which we encourage you to be involved in by:
- Praying about what God would have you give
- Making a pledge
- Giving that amount (as a one off gift or periodically over the next 12 months)
Once our facility is complete, we will be focusing on projects outside our four walls. We will see God’s Kingdom footprints having impact through residential Urban Ministry Hubs, within the education system and throughout the business marketplace.
We are excited to see what God does, as we set out on this journey together as a family.

OUR HISTORY OF BUILDING PROJECTS
From our early beginnings in 1986, we’ve had many building projects to cater for our ever growing church. The generosity and faithfulness of our church family have paid for every single one.

WILL I BE FOLLOWED UP ABOUT MY PLEDGE?
Your pledge will not be followed up. It simply gives us an indication of how much giving is intended, which helps us with our financial planning.
WILL DONATIONS TO THE PROJECT BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes, all those who can benefit from a tax deduction for their donation can do so by giving to our Vineyard College Building Fund. You will need to request a tax receipt. One of our Finance Team will email this to you once requested.
CAN I RE-DIRECT SOME OF MY REGULAR GIVING TO THIS PROJECT?
Our current regular giving (tithes and offerings) helps to resource the ministries of the church. In order to sustain these ministries, we ask that donations to this project be in addition to your other regular giving. We do not want any area of ministry to have to reduce their resources in favour of the building being completed.

Our commitment to our community ministry and to our missions work remains as strong as ever. We do not want to reduce any the current resources that we are investing into these core ministries of the church. In fact, as we grow, our capacity to expand these areas of ministry also grows.
